Memorial Art in the City Centre

2 hours

Art and history often overlap and in Cape Town we have several art pieces of art that commemorate either individuals or significant historical events. On route we will stop at some of our most notable creations and see how art has been often used to remember sensitive historical events.

Architecture in the City Centre

2 hours

Cape Town is a vibrant city and due to its position has always been considered a prized location for European settlers. As such Cape Town has been occupied by Dutch and British, each new group has left a lasting contribution to our architecture.

During this tour, we will incorporate a variety of buildings from the last 350 years and include structures with both Dutch and British influence along with the more modern architecture of the 1940s Art Deco era.
